William Foster

As a digital forensic investigator Mr. Foster specializes in stand-alone computer hard drives and mobile devices (smart phones and tablets). He is certified as a Computer Hacking Forensic Investigator (CHFI by EC-Council) which is ranked as a Tier 1 Certification by the FBI for cyber investigations and is accredited by the National Security Agency. Mr. Foster is also an IACRB Certified Computer Forensic Examiner (CCFE) which is the most popular digital forensic certification in the US.

Mr. Foster is experienced and well trained in the most trusted digital forensic tools in the industry including EnCase by Guidance Software, X-Ways Forensics, FTK Imager, Internet Evidence Finder (IEF by Magnet Forensics) and Cellebrite for mobile forensics. Mr. Foster is a Level II licensed investigator in Colorado.

William Foster is a former Marine with core expertise in the field of all source intelligence gathering, analysis, report writing, and briefing. He maintained a Top Secret/SCI Clearance throughout his career. His legal background combined with his training and experience in intelligence and digital forensics are of immense value to our investigation firm.

Mr. Foster spent a total of twelve years in the U.S. Marine Corps between active and reserve duty. He enlisted in 1998 and later attended officer candidate school to become a Marine Corps Officer. He deployed to Iraq in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom and supported reconnaissance Marines with all-source intelligence. He previously served as an all-source intelligence analyst during three different tours with the prestigious Joint Analysis Center, UK.

Mr. Foster earned his J.D. from the University of Wyoming in 2005 and is licensed in Colorado and Wyoming. He was employed as an Attorney Adviser with the U.S. Small Business Administration for two years followed by five years as a consumer rights law and criminal defense attorney in Denver, Colorado.
