Andrew Schmidt is a Licensed Lead Investigator and Senior Asset Analyst.
Mr. Schmidt has worked in the field of private investigation for over 14 years in a variety of capacities. In financial forensics, his research and analysis specializes in asset location and judgment recovery. He has conducted private investigation for criminal defense trials through the Office of Alternate Defense Council and various private attorneys. He consulted and provided research services for small businesses, attorneys, municipalities and individuals in Colorado and Wyoming. He is familiar with major public and private data base sources, retrieval of court records, and Colorado Revised Statutes covering legal Service of Process.
His prior work enhances his knowledge base. In 2004, Mr. Schmidt taught a college course in the fields of political science and government at Aims Community College. He traveled to Sofia, Bulgaria in May 2001 to speak at the Bulgarian Municipal Leadership Conference. He participated in an information/idea exchange between a group of elected officials from Colorado and different Bulgarian municipal leaders. Additionally, Mr. Schmidt brings significant experience working for local government. He directed the Public Works Departments for two Colorado towns: Milliken (2000-2002) and Platteville (1998-2000). He coordinated major projects during both tenures. He also served as a staff assistant on the Commission on Local Government, Commonwealth of Virginia (1989-1990).
His received his Linguistic Statement Analysis Technique certification in 2005 along with his Private Investigators’ certification in 2003. Mr. Schmidt earned his Master of Arts in Public Administration from the University of Colorado and his Bachelor of Arts in International Studies/Political Science from the University of Wyoming. He has been a member of several professional organizations: Association of Certified Fraud Examiners; Colorado Criminal Defense Bar; and National Association of Professional Process Servers. Active in the Professional Private Investigators Association of Colorado, he has served on the Conference Committee, Board, and as Vice President of Legislative Affairs.
